If you have got stuck during the installation or you cannot remember the custom code for your VOLspeed for Bosch Rim Magnet (P/N 1405). Here's how to delete it:

- Turn off the ebike
2. Connect the charger to the bike — the control unit will be activated automatically.
3. On the control unit, enter the following sequence using the assistance-level buttons: - - - + + +
4. Unplug the charger. This will switch the drive system off again.
5. Switch on the e-bike.
6. The speed displayed is 20km/h (12.4mph).
7. Switch the e-bike off again.
The individual code is now deleted.
Optional:
To test the standard activation method is working, follow these steps;
- Power the bike on
- Press - + - + on the controller
- 32kmh (20mph) should appear on the display (if you have one)
- If you would like to increase the custom speed of the volspeed. Tap + repeatedly until the display shows 45kmh (28mph)
- Count to 5 to allow the chip to store this value
- The volspeed is now activated with a custom max speed of 45kmh (28mph)
