Compatible Motors#

Compatible with software versions up to 17.16

Not compatible with:

• Bosch Smart System models with a Rim Magnet sensor (located on the rear wheel valve) – shop the Rim Magnet kit here

• Non-Smart Bosch motors (Purion, Intuvia, or original Kiox displays) – shop the V4 kit here

What Does It Do?#

• Removes the factory 15.5mph (25km/h) speed limit

• Unlocks assisted speeds up to 28mph (45km/h)

• All ride modes work exactly the same, including Walk Mode

• Can be switched on/off at any time using your handlebar controls

Please note: With the chip active, speed readings are fixed above 22km/h. As a result, total distance recorded on the display/Flow app will be less than actual distance covered when derestricted.

Installation Guide#

VOLspeed Smart is easy to install with just a few basic tools. Once fitted, it's hidden neatly inside the motor cover for a clean, OEM style finish.

How to Turn Tuning On/Off#

Press minus (–), plus (+), minus (–), plus (+) on your controller to activated or deactivate it.

The kit is completely undetectable – simply remove before getting your bike serviced.

How to Avoid Error Codes#

To reduce the risk of errors:

• Disable automatic updates in the eBike Flow App

• Activate/deactivate the tuning before the ride (when the e-bike is standing still), not during riding

Important: Firmware Updates#

Updating your eBike's motor firmware may block or disable your tuning kit.

We recommend avoiding firmware updates – especially through service centres – unless absolutely necessary. Most updates are optional, and a working eBike doesn't usually need one.

Please note: A blocked tuning kit due to a firmware update is not covered under warranty.
